CD: "Twenty Sided DIE! The Roanoke EP"

Artist: The Keeper

Self Released

It would probably be easiest just to say that this CD kicks ass.

But it doesn't just kick ass, it rounds up all of it's henchmen and retainers, arms itself to the teeth, storms over the border and burns the listener's defenses to the ground.

And that's just the lyrics.

Musically this Seattle band mixes a metal stance with noise rock attitude, bone-breaking dirge rock with dagger-sharp keyboard counterpoints. This is the best EP I've heard all year.

My only caveat is the live tracks. They're not bad, but they don't capture the sonic molestation of the band live.

But, this is so worth you cash.
